Terms and Conditions

The Terms of Service (TOS) outline the basic rules and regulations that apply to the use of the Melbet website and mobile application, as well as the services offered. By using the website or mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms, which outline the responsibilities of both you and Melbet, as well as applicable restrictions and exclusions.

1. User Protection: The Terms cover essential information about registering for an account, making deposits and withdrawals, betting, promotions, and responsible gambling, to ensure a safe and suitable experience for all users.
2. Compliance: Reading and complying with these Terms will protect your account and funds and help prevent your account from being suspended or closed.

These Terms and Conditions apply to both the Melbet website and mobile application.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

  • Bet: A wager is a legally binding agreement between the Customer and Melbet to pay an amount equal to the stake if the selected outcome of a certain event is unsuccessful.
  • Outcome: The result of an event as listed in the sportsbook that determines whether a bet is winner or loser.
  • Customer: A natural person who has attained the age of 18 years and is a bettor.
  • Sportsbook: A collection of events listed with their respective outcomes and associated odds.
  • Void Bet: A bet that is declared void and the stake is refunded to the Customer at odds of 1.00.
  • Regular Time: The actual duration of a match as per the official rules of the sport, except for events where additional time is played, such as overtime in hockey and basketball, or sudden death penalties in soccer.

2. General Rules

1. Licensing and Ownership

  • Melbet is owned and operated by Pelican Entertainment B.V., licensed by Curacao Egaming (License No. 8048/JAZ2020-060).
  • Financial transactions are handled by Alenesro Ltd., a company registered in Cyprus (registration number HE 399995).

2. Age Restrictions

  • The Service is available in restricted jurisdictions only and may not be available to residents of certain countries in accordance with local laws and regulation. We do not permit access to the Service to anyone under the age of 18 or who is prohibited from gambling in their jurisdiction.

3. Responsibility

  • It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that bettors are not excluded from gambling in their jurisdiction and that they do not allow access to the Service to minors or anyone who is prohibited from gambling.

3. General Rules for Bets

1. Minimum Bet: The minimum amount you can bet is INR 20 (or equivalent in other currencies).
2. Maximum Bet: The maximum amount you can bet is set by Melbet on a per event and per sport basis.
3. Bet Validation: A bet is not considered valid until it has been accepted by the system. In the event of any technical issues, a bet may be voided.

4. Insurance

1. Purpose

  • Insurance allows you to hedge a portion or full of your stake against an unfavorable outcome.

2. Conditions

  • Insurance is only available for single and accumulator bets.
  • The price of insurance is based on the current odds of the insured selection.

3. Limitations

  • You cannot use the “Sell Bet Slip” option for insured bets.

5. Restrictions and Prohibitions

1. Related Outcomes

  • You cannot combine related selections in a single accumulator or system bet. Such bets may be voided.
  • Example: “Team A to win 2-0” and “Team A to win” are related selections and the bet may be declared void.

2. Platform Rights

  • Melbet reserves the right to limit or refuse any bet(s) without prior notice.

6. Refunds

1. User Responsibility

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Service is legal in your jurisdiction.

2. Account Restrictions

  • If we discover that you are resident in a country where online gambling is prohibited, we reserve the right to close your account and refund any remaining balance (excluding winnings).

3. Refund Timeframe

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of verification.

7. Disputes

1. Event Results

  • Bets are settled based on the official result at the time the event is completed. Any subsequent changes to the result due to decisions made after the event (such as doping) are not taken into consideration.

2. Filing Claims

  • You may claim against a bet within 30 days of the event completion date. All disputes will be resolved with the help of official data.

Final Provisions

1. Melbet reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check the Terms and Conditions regularly for changes.
2. Your continued use of the Service after changes to the Terms and Conditions have been made constitutes acceptance of the modifications.
